Digital Interdisciplinary and Robotics Institute has been established since 2017 by the authorized of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon(RMUTP) Council. The institute objective is to encourage Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon for realize its mission of educating future graduates and professionals. The institute, known as the “Digital Interdisciplinary and Robotics Institute (DIRI)”, is a faculty-level institution which is directly controlled and commanded by the President of RMUTP. The institute aspired to be the central agency for fostering new working skills among students at Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon. The institute’s goal is to generate new knowledge providing excellent services to industrial authorities and outside.

Mission
1. Encourage creativity and enhance interdisciplinary of digital and robotics skills for students, staff, external personnel, and integrated industries to achieve the vision of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon(RMUTP).
2. Conduct education, knowledge development, innovation, and exchange of academic knowledge in interdisciplinary digital and robotics to respond to new professions in the digital age.
3. Continuously organize activities to promote awareness and develop new knowledge. To increase international competitiveness.
Scope of Work
1. To Developing new short-term and long-term courses which is integrated Interdisciplinary concepts in digital and robotics with the requirement of the industrial sector.
2. To Promote and integration of research, development innovation and exchange academic knowledge that base on interdisciplinary digital with robotics and future technology skills with other universities both domestically and internationally.
3. To Develop professional skills and standards for testing interdisciplinary digital and robotic capabilities in conjunction with external agencies to enhance the capabilities and create identity for students of Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon.
4. To Create active of digital and robotics innovation for promoting student competency with become a professional practitioner in the digital age and becoming a new entrepreneur (Startup).
5. To Encourage learning technology for undergraduate, master’s, doctorate, and international students of RMUTP student for future achievement.
6. To Create New Thailand, Project Development by collaboration with agencies in other ministries, such as the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, the Ministry of Industry, and the Ministry of Labour, among others.
Objective
1. To Developing an integrated curriculum for Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon and other organisations to promote student, faculty, and staff learning in interdisciplinary robotics and digital.
2. Become a centre for assessing transdisciplinary digital and robotics skills for Rajamangala University of Technology Phra Nakhon staff as well as personnel from other organisations.
3. The goal is to conduct interdisciplinary research, development, and innovation in robotics and digital technology, as well as academic information sharing, while collaborating with other government organisations and the commercial sector to advance Thailand’s technological development.
4. Developing relationships with both national and international organisations to constantly expanding industry cooperation.
